Cervical Cancer Vaccinations
What is it?
The cervical cancer vaccine has been shown to have real benefits for women up to 45 years of age.
How does it work?
At your next check-up why not discuss your risk with your GP to see if it’s right for you and if so, we’ll give eligible members 100% of the cost up to $200, payable on completion of the three vaccine course of treatment.
And remember, pap tests remain the first line of detection for cervical cancer. Therefore, it’s vital that all women aged 18-70 who have ever been sexually active, including those who have been vaccinated, continue having pap tests every second year in line with Cancer Council Australia recommendations.
