How to add your digital card to Apple Wallet
Make sure you’ve set up your Australian Unity Health digital membership card in your Apple1 Wallet.
- Open or get the Australian Unity Health App on App Store.
- Go to the 'Digital card' section in the main menu.
- Tap 'Add to Apple Wallet' and follow the prompts.
For Apple Watch, once your card has been added to iPhone, it will automatically sync to your Apple Watch

How to tap and claim
Next time you visit a participating extras provider, follow these steps to tap and claim on the spot.
Step 1
On iPhone with Face ID and Apple Watch, double-click the side-button.
On iPhone with Touch ID, double-click the Home Button from the Lock Screen.
Step 2
Choose your Australian Unity Health card in Wallet.
Step 3
Hold your device near the reader.

Hospital & extras
Extras cover only
Overseas visitor cover & extras
The app does not currently support the following policies:
Hospital cover only
Overseas visitor cover only
Members who have Hospital cover only, or Overseas visitor cover only will be redirected to the browser-based member portal to manage their accounts.
Members who hold multiple policies will only be able to view their most recently used extra in the app, and they’ll be redirected to the browser-based portal for additional needs.

There could be several reasons why your claim was not approved:
Ensure that your policy is up to date and that you're covered for the service.Verify that your waiting periods have been completed.
Make sure you haven't reached your annual limit.
Check your remaining limits on the Health App.

- Select your Australian Unity digital card from the menu.
- Hold your device near the extras provider's reader. You may be asked to show your Member number to the service provider to process your claim.
