² The ongoing variable interest rate applicable to the Freedom Saver Account is determined by the value of the balance in the Freedom Saver Account. Balances up to $5,000,000.00 are eligible to earn interest as outlined by the interest tiering structure set out in the Schedule of Interest Rates – Transaction and Savings Accounts. When your balance increases to the next interest rate tier you will receive the interest rate for that tier on the entire balance of your Freedom Saver Account. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly. Balances over $5,000,000.00 will not earn interest. Freedom Saver Accounts are required to have a linked Australian Unity Transaction Account and all withdrawals must be made via the linked Transaction Account. The Freedom Saver Account is only available to new customers aged 16 or over. Offer is limited to 1 Account per customer. Customers cannot open a new Account within 90 days of closure of the same type of Australian Unity savings or transaction Account. Refer to the Schedule of Interest Rates – Transaction and Savings Accounts booklet for more details on fees applicable to the Australian Unity Bank Transaction Account and Freedom Saver Account. Interest rates are subject to change at Australian Unity Bank’s discretion and in accordance with the relevant notice period prescribed within the ‘Australian Unity Bank Transaction, Savings and Investment Products Terms and Conditions’.

Information on how to claim and the gift card form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer unless stated otherwise.
The offer is available from 3 June 2024 to 11:59pm AEST on 15 July 2024 (“Offer Period”).
The Promoter is Australian Unity Bank Limited (ABN 30 087 652079) (“AUBL” or “Australian Unity Bank”). Insurance policies are issued by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (Allianz, ABN 15 000 122 850, “Issuer”).
The offer is for one (1) $100 Visa gift card issued by Cuscal Ltd ABN 95 087 822 455 AFSL 244116 (the “Offer”). The redemption of the Offer is managed by AUBL.
Cuscal Ltd deals with any funds loaded onto the card in accordance with its arrangements with Corporate Prepaid Cards Pty Ltd ABN 25 092 828 772 AFSL 509642. All gift cards will be delivered by post. Australian Unity will not be held responsible for any damaged, undelivered, lost or stolen gift cards and no replacement will be provided. The Offer is not refundable or redeemable for cash. Any unused balance of a card will not be awarded as cash.
Allow 6 weeks after the start of the new policy for the delivery of the Gift Cards
To be eligible for the Offer:
1. Individuals must purchase a new Eligible Policy (defined below) through Australian Unity Bank during the Offer Period and provide a valid email address; and
2. The start date of the Eligible Policy must occur during the Offer Period; and
3. The Eligible Policy must not be lapsed, cancelled or in arrears at the time the gift cards are distributed, which will be within 6 weeks from the end of the Offer Period.
4. Individuals must be Australian residents aged 18 years or over (“Eligible Customer” or “claimant”). The Eligible Customer is responsible for redeeming the Offer before the expiry date for activation. The Eligible Customer can redeem the Offer online or by phone.
This Offer is not available to Australian Unity employees.
The Eligible Policy will be deemed purchased when the Issuer receives full payment of the annual policy premium or the first instalment of premium, if paying by the month.
Every Eligible Customer who satisfies the purchase and submission requirements of the Offer, as detailed above will receive the gift card.
For the purposes of this Offer, an “Eligible Policy” is:
1. A new Australian Unity Comprehensive Motor insurance policy purchased.
Variations and renewals to existing policies are excluded from this Offer.
Multiple entries permitted , subject to the following:
1. the Offer is limited to one (1) Reward per Eligible Policy; and
2. each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. If a policy has two (2) or more policy holders, the first policy holder named on the policy schedule will be awarded the gift card.
AUBL reserves the right, at any time, to verify the identity and eligibility of each Eligible Customer, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who AUBL has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this Offer. Failure by AUBL to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. AUBLs legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If there is incomplete information (including where an email address provided is invalid) the Eligible Policy will not be eligible for the Offer.
If an Eligible Customer does not redeem an Offer at the time stipulated by AUBL, then the Offer (or that element of the Offer) will be forfeited.
If any Offer (or part of any Offer) is unavailable, AUBL, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Offer (or that part of the Offer) with an offer to the equal value and/or specification.
suspend, terminate, or cancel the Offer, as appropriate in the circumstances.
AUBL collects personal information in accordance with the Australian Unity Privacy Policy available at www.australianunity.com.au/privacy-policy. Entry is conditional on providing this personal information.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). To the extent permitted by law, AUBL’s liability arising from or in connection with this Offer, including for a breach of a Non-Excludable Guarantee, is limited to: (a) in the case of goods, any one or more of the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods or the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; or (b) in the case of services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again
