Hospitals
Depending on your level of cover, when you need elective surgery, you can avoid public hospitals and their waiting lists, by choosing to be treated at any one of more than 500 private hospitals we have an agreement with (our agreement hospitals). These private hospital agreements mean you’ll be covered depending on your level of cover, for most in-hospital charges less any incidentals and excess or copayment you may be required to pay.

Doctor
Australian Unity's Gap Cover can reduce or remove your out-of-pocket expenses. We set our own schedule of fees, which is generally higher than the Government schedule. This means that when your doctor or specialist agrees to use Australian Unity's Gap Cover Scheme, we can help to pay some of the gap or the entire gap that can occur if your doctor's charge is higher than the Medicare Benefits Schedule Fee.

No Gap Dental Network
Depending on your level of cover, you can get 60%, 80% and even up to 100% back on the cost of preventative dental treatments (up to your yearly limit).
Preventative treatments include things like examinations, x-rays, scale, clean and topical fluoride treatment. You can even get a custom mouthguard for protection during sport.

Most dentists, chiropractors, optometrists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists and psychologists offer a claims facility to claim on the spot. You can swipe your Australian Unity membership card to claim on the spot.
