Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service
The Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) is the first building completed as part of Australian Unity’s $1.1 billion redevelopment of Herston Quarter.Completed in 2020, STARS provides specialist care for rehabilitation, elective surgery, endoscopy and outpatient services.
STARS is the first public health facility in Australia to be funded by investors in a property trust – Australian Unity’s Healthcare Property Trust.
This stage also included over 400 car spaces and expansive public realm.
